Hello,
Today there appeared a post on the OpenERP linkedIn group which had me worried as an OpenERP user. It refers to a website called sorryopenerp.com
In the Press Release section the following is posted:
***Press Release**
Sorry OpenERP campaign was started to enlighten users about the defects existing in OpenERP and inform them about the reality behind the misleading claims of the company. The primary objective of this campaign is to save people from choosing an ERP, which will create more problems rather than solving them.
The campaign was born out of our familiarity with the victims of OpenERP, who were led astray by the grandeur publicity campaign of the software. The creators of OpenERP raised €3 million in funding and instead of fixing the numerous bugs, they chose to completely ignore the defects and market an erroneous product.
OpenERP can also be attributed as the reason for the rightful termination of Richard, George, Tina and many others like them. The fanbois of OpenERP are warned to stay away from this campaign, except the ones, who are on the payroll of OpenERP.
Sorry OpenERP campaign is targeted at the hypocrisy of the software, which has claimed many victims. This campaign is deeply rooted in truth, which seems to be absent in the business model of OpenERP.
This release could be a never ending list of what is wrong with OpenERP, well, in one word, everything. However, the million Euro question is, how can OpenERP, which is broken by design and brimming with flaws, be beautiful?*
I have to assume that the owner of this website is familiar with OpenERP as a developer/partner/integrator and it is therefor that this message is kind of discomforting to say the least.
Is it possible to get a reaction from OpenERP regarding the claims made on this website?
Thanks!
